Any 2-family brownstone homeowners interested in participating in academic study?

I am working with the Pratt Center for Community Development, the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) and Bright Power, Inc. to identify ways to make it easier for homeowners to save energy and money at the same time as improving health and comfort. If you own a 2-family, gas heated, brick or brownstone building, you may be eligible to receive $75 as a participation incentive, a free energy audit and a chance to receive a package of energy saving measures (measures may include insulation, air sealing, appliance upgrades, etc.).  Participating homeowners must provide the previous 12 months of energy usage data, and if selected for a free energy retrofit, 12 months of energy usage data after the installation.   Space is limited for participation.  To help determine your eligibility, please fill out this brief survey at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SG2ZZ55

It does.  We are looking at buildings classified by the Department of Finance as B1 or B3, both of which are 2 family homes categories.  However, if you are interested in learning about how to improve the energy efficiency of your home outside of this study, please contact the Pratt Center at www.prattcenter.net and you will be directed to our program staff who can assist you.

Does it have to be a legal 2 family?  We have a legal 3 family used as a 2…
