Cat 6/Terminations

I need someone who can simple finish/terminate a couple of cat6 cable connections.
We ran new cable as part of a renovation, but the contractor never came back to do the terminations, I’ve tried and are not getting good connections.
Any recommendations for a job small like this?

You can call my buddy Andre, He works for a local cable company doing smart home installations, he would be happy to do the job for you.  He can be reached at 347-421-0700.

I have to say, I have had great luck with the monoprice jacks.  I wouldn’t shy away from them.

+1 on the Leviton Quickports.  You don’t need anyone to help you with this.  Just follow the simple color coding using the included terminal tool.

I’m sure if you search within the site you can find a reco. For what its worth I ended up doing it myself (although I never did it before). One thing I did learn is – buy easily terminated jacks. I highly recommend buying the Leviton Quickport jacks. You don’t need a punchdown tool (comes with the tool to get the wires in). I made the mistake of buying cheaper jacks at Monoprice.com and eventually got rid oft them. The Leviton ones are pretty idiot proof (avail at Home Depot)
