Can anyone recommend a reputable installer for a video intercom system / electric door strike on the front of our brownstone?  We spoke with one A/V company that said the job was too small.   Also, does anyone know whether this has to be cleared with Landmarks? Thanks.

The more complicated portion of this is the door strike. Any reputable locksmith should be able to handle this. I would recomend an aiphone intercom. They’re fairly solid and easy to service and find components for.

What about Siedle vs Aiphone?  The Siedle unit looks nicer and looks like it would flushmount to the outside.

I second the aiphone.  How many units are in the building? (curious because they said the job is too small)
