Certificate Of Occupancy Pointless if you have money????
There is a building across from me that converted a couple houses back in 2006 to a mixed-use space (warehouse and work studios). They never received a revised certificate of occupancy and built the structure anyway. It appears they have been in violation since then and just pay yearly fees. Are there any other repercussions here or is it simply a slap on the wrist?
