Backyard Deck Renovations - Contractor Recommendations??

Hi, 

I am looking for a reputable, experienced, & inexpensive contractor to build a small backyard deck in the rear of a Condo in Prospect Heights (Bergen & Vanderbilt). The area is approx. 250sf & will be pressure treated framing with the possibility of a tropical hardwood deck & exposed features (privacy screen & planters). The contractor should have experience working with Ipe or other hardwoods. Also, in effort to save $ I would be interested in any contractors that are open to allowing the homeowner to purchase all materials & fixtures directly. I have a fantastic woodworker if you don’t want to spend $20K on a deck. I built mine for about $6K and it’s beautiful – epi with cedar railings. A gorgeous job. He’s a master at the details. Give Warren a call: 347.683.8068\. He’s built 2 decks for me now.
