Need to have a custom stainless-steel leg done for my kitchen counter. Where?

We are are building a new “breakfast table” and we would like to have a 4″x4″ leg supporting the end of it.   It also must have a GFI outlet built into it (as this is a part of our countertop).   We have decided not to make the leg out of granite (too expensive), or using only wood (durability and easily damaged by getting nicked).  Instead we are thinking of using “pressure-treated” wood of some sort and then wrapping  stainless steel around it to give it a modern look.  We are not against ending up with a circular support leg as long as it’s not more than 4″ in diameter.  Can anyone suggest places here in New York area (Brooklyn) that does these kinds of projects.  I was told that there might be some industrial kitchen supply places that do this.  But I don’t know where to start.   If there are pre-made models, we are open to that too. Any and all suggestions are much appreciated!
