Free - Matte/Honed Deep Grey Caesterstone counters and Backsplash available

Hi Brownstoners, I was hesitant to generate this posting fearing snarky comments about the need to get rid of perfectly good stuff but ultimately my desire to reduce landfill overcame my fear of snark. On June 25th, our contractor will be carefully removing a number of kitchen and bathroom counters and backsplashes in a dark grey honed/matte Caserstone. We would love to find them a new home. I tried to post a representative image on Brownstoner but even though the file was a jpg, the site said it was not an acceptable format. However, I have many pictures and can send them to you upon request. They were installed in 2006 (prior to our ownership) and are in excellent shape. We have three pieces (all with accompanying 3 inch backsplash) from the kitchen. One is a straight 9 foot long by 24 inches deep piece with side panels as the counter was open on both sides. The other side of the kitchen has two pieces, one about 23 inches long x 24 inches deep and one about 60 inches long with a sink and single faucet cutout. The sink cutout is approximately 18 1/2 inches by 20 1/2 inches (sink not included). We have a piece (also with 3 inch backsplash) from a half bath which is about 24 inches across and 22 inches deep with a small sink cutout. And finally a piece from a full bath about 60 inches long by 22 inches deep and of course, a sink cutout with a 22 inch backsplah and a cap about 7 inches deep They are all available to anyone who wants to pick them up but it needs to be as soon after June 25th as possible. We would also be happy to give them to any Brooklyn based charity so if anyone knows of a charity or organization that might be able to make use of them, I would be more than happy to contact them if you provide me with information. You must provide the muscle to move them from our apartment to your vehicle and remember, one of the pieces is 9 feet long. Its a straight shot with no stairs but the pieces are very heavy.
