Kingsview Apartments - Co-operatives

Just be aware that coop board approval at Kingsview can be very tough. I subletted there 10 years ago and have heard many stories — both back then and more recently.

Hello Fabulous Brownstoner Community! I am currently in the market to purchase an apartment and have been looking into apartments within the Kingsview Apartments complex (Ashland Place between Myrtle and DeKalb).  My internet research has not rendered much on the financials/tenants of these buildings, so any information would be much appreciated.  There are currently a few units for sale.  Do you know anyone who has lived here?  Thoughts/sentiments on the development?  Also, is there a reputable source where I can find out the co-ops financials?  My budget is $300,000 approximately and although I would prefer a condominium,  I have not been able to find any in that price range.  Thank you!   Lisa

A broker should be able to get you the financials if you see an apartment through them and are serious. The financials will not be online.
