Cleanup after minor fire
Is it all over the place and impossible for you to clean on your own? Does insurance cover it? Then hire the pros. Just FYI pretty sure they use something like Murphy’s Wood Soap to clean off the soot. They clean everywhere — ceilings, tops of doors, above picture molding, etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions for someone to hire to cleanup minor soot in apartment after small stove fire. Trying to figure out if I need a professional. Thank you.

There are many online sources for info about cleaning up after a fire, from the Red Cross to FEMA. Only you can gauge your need to hire a pro, in which case I’d try someone like ServPro.
