Basement hatch with hose bib

I want to replace my existing basement hatch. I’d like the new hatch to have 1) a dryer vent and 2) a hose bib. Has anyone see such a hatch? Can you suggest where I could find one?

We attached a circular towel holder to the upper inside wall of our hatch and looped the hose through it. The hose hangs close to the hatch doors for easy access when we need it.

You would need to have the hatch fabricated by an iron worker. The hose line could run through the hatch frame.

What I have in mind is something like this: hose from my basement utility sink to the hose bib on the basement side of the hatch during the summer months, which would allow me to disconnect the hose in the winter and any other time I need to use the hatch. Maybe there’s an easier way to accomplish this. I’m trying to avoid going through the basement wall and the through the concrete in the front yard.

A hose bib might be tough to run through a hatch. Ideally you want a sillcock which is angled down to the exterior so that when you turn it off, the water drains to the outside. That guards against water remaining in the pipe and freezing in the winter (and busting your pipe). I don’t see how that’s possible with a hose bib rising vertically out of a basement hatch.
