Rogue Condo Board Member

The condo is at fault as they allowed the units to be occupied contrary to the C of O.  Either the board is going to have to pay to legilize or force the unit owner to do so.  If it is a basement and not a cellar then it should not be a problem.

The condo board I live in has been fined for 2 basement units that are illegally occupied by tenants, even though those units are not in compliance for occupancy.  The board is facing daily fines.  The problem is that those units belong to a rogue condo owner who has no problem breaking the law.  The condo board has been at odds with this person for years, but he is the one who’s in total control of these illegal rentals.  I have a hearing before the Environmental Control Board on Monday–they are the ones that have fined our condo board.  Any advice on what I can do?  This is our last chance, since we’ve already been ruled against.
