Applicable code for brownstone reno.

38 code, yes on energy as you will be at least changing the window to a door. that would need to comply.

Hi everyone, I am trying to do a renovation on a 1904 brownstone. No change to C/O and the working area is all interior on 1 floor (less than 25% of the building) The scope of the exterior is only adding a deck and changing on window to a french door. The questions is that what code would be applicable to a project like this? Can I comply with 1968? In terms of energy code, since there is no changes to the envelope, should I file energy compliance? any link or reference would be greatly appreciated.
