used appliance shop for gas range in south slope or nearby?

If you don’t find a place to sell it, you could donate it to Build It Green (bignyc.org), or some other organization and get a tax deduction.

I’ve looked on the forum, around the neighborhood and online… can’t seem to find a local place that might buy and sell used ranges. I’ve got one to sell, works fine, good shape, just want a newer model. It doesn’t look like anything antique or special but I’d like to get a couple of bucks for it if I could sell it to a local shop. Anybody know one somewhere around 4th ave in south slope? Thanks for any tips.

I think there are actually two places on Prospect Avenue… One around 7th Ave and another around 6th Ave.    Not sure if they buy but the refrigerator I put out for sanitation freon removal/pickup mysteriously ended up at the place on Prospect and 6th Ave.
