Right way to secure pier mirror to wall?

Hi Brownstoners, I just acquired a very tall pier mirror for our brownstone parlor. The mirror has a marble base, and will be placed between our two front windows. Think I need to secure the top to prevent it from tipping forward, but not sure about the best way to do so. Any advice? Photo attached. Thanks!

I have moved a couple of these mirrors over the years and both had been almost suspended on a heavy chain to a large bolt hook in the wall, almost like hanging a heavy picture. After the restorations all around we put them back exactly the same way and I am sure they will stand straight for another 100+ years. But, yes they absolutely need attaching to the wall at the top. It looks like a beautiful mirror.

You could also anchor it w/ a cleat. Mount a block of wood to the wall w/ the upper side mitered at an angle. Mount a complementary mitered block on the back of the mirror.
