Accountant for dealing with an S Corp

you can set this up yourself on the NYS Sec of state’s website.  You can elect s corp status immediately.  you can literally have this filed in 15 minutes with a credit card.  as far as the filings, there is a form 941 that must be done quarterly in addition to the state and federal annual return – oh and let’s not forget the NYC city return.   if you made it out of high school you can do all of this yourself.  the filings get to be a pain in the neck and while I do not mind paying taxes, it is the paperwork that is the problem.   You will also have to get a state tax number and certificate even if you do not do any taxable business.  you will have to file state sales tax returns.  another reason to go live in some rain forest in south america.    Steve

Does anyone have an accountant they would recommend specifically for setting up and managing filings for an S Corp? Thanks
