Hi there – recently replaced an old radiator and now need to dispose of it. My regular guy is no longer in the area. Any contact info for removal of this type of item? The radiator leaks, so this one needs to go to scrap. thanks-

Try Rockaway Recycling.

In my neighborhood (Bushwick near the Ridgewood border) you just put it out on the street on recycling day and a scrapper will pick it up before the next morning.

The same thing would happen in my neighborhood (PLG) and probably most anywhere in brownstone Brooklyn. Scavengers can be very useful.

Thanks for the responses everyone – I’m right were you are Joe so perhaps I’ll try that. Best
