Anyone have a suggestion for this? I’m thinking wood molding and beveled mirrors hopefully. Any suggestions for online or brick/mortar retailers?

Thanks

  1. Oh and in response to the track question, the Stanley doors come with a track, upper and lower.

  2. Stanley Doors make a sliding mirrored door with molding. As far as sliding mirrored doors go, they are the best, I think, since I looked quite a bit. I was limited to sliding doors in my case, but I would agree with Bessie that hinged doors are nicer. I don’t know if she is referring however to doors with mirrors. If I had it to do over again, I would get hinged doors with mirrors afixed to them with molding. I would get them made. I would see these in European hotels and think they look fabulous. But for a lower cost compromise, take a look at Standly doors. I got them through Home Depot which is another story enitirely and if you can find another distributor, all the better.

  3. i think i saw these in jeld-wen catalog, so they certainly exist. you can get their recessed panel doors fitted with mirrors in the panels. their website has a list of retailers.

if you’re going to go with detail in the molding around the panel, i would suggest not using a bevel on the mirror. it might be too much look. the contrast of the molding detail with a flat mirror will be very chic.

  4. Closet doors. Sorry for typo. I recognize this is sort of an anomaly, but I’m wondering if I can get a traditional looking door, but with a mirrored panel in a six foot sliding track. Can one also install the track and put any door in it, provided the size works?
