OK, I have a brownstone in FT. Greene. Our entry doors have had it, they are beat to hell, all the detail has been removed and have a nasty black gate on them. I am looking to have them replaced with a custom set. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who I should have do this?
I got a great salvage door from http://www.archantiquities.com They do an excellent job of stripping & filling and shipping is not unreasonable. They do have some double doors.
Artistic Woodcrafts (in Bk Navy Yard) did my front door. http://artisticwoodcrafts.net/default.aspx
They were priced much lower than Hts woodworking and other shops.
