does anyone have an idea on how to cover one of those bright 15″ round fluorescent lights found in older brooklyn apartments? Haven’t found anything in my research online…

  2. If you’re handy, or willing to hire an electrician, you can replace the entire fixture, doesn’t have to be fluorescent. You’ll definitely find surface mount fluorescent lighting fixtures at HD.
