My insurance company did an inspection of my house and said I had to repair the sidewalk although the city has never said anything and the sidewalk on the whole block is a mess. No you aren’t. Pass on anyone charging for an estimate. It’s the cost of doing business.
A fee for a written estimate? Am I the only one that finds that practice somewhat disconcerting?
