Yesterday No Land Grab and Curbed ran some new renderings of the Barclays Arena courtesy of the site Nets Daily. ACEOM, the parent company of arena architecture firm Ellerbe & Becket, is promising “the most exciting venue in the NBA… one of the most intimate seating configurations ever designed into a modern multi-purpose arena, with unparalleled sightlines.” Also: A champagne bar.

  3. “I just know all of those people hoping for jobs and affordable housing there will be loving that champagne bar. A nice glass of bubbly always takes some of the sting out of poverty.”
