Gowanus Super 8 Opening Soon
The latest entry into the crowded Gowanus hotel field will be a Super 8 on the corner of President Street and 3rd Avenue. The building’s looked fairly complete for awhile now, and according to a rep from Wyndham Hotel Group (Super 8 is a Wyndham brand), it’s “tentatively” scheduled to open on June 29th. No…

don’t be drawn in by the insults 11217. Welcome back.
And you’re right (but try to use different expression).
Sounds more like a snob than a whatever if claims wouldn’t be caught dead walking down President/3rd avenue.
back in eighties I would walk home later evening most nights
from Park Slope to C.G. down Union/president/carroll and never did I experience/witness and crime nor ever felt threatened or anxious.
weird. i went to actually see the gowanus canal for the first time this weekend and as i was walking my dog he started barking at something. i looked over the bridge and a long blonde wig was floating in the canal!

>Children, children, please take your fight to the Open Thread!
this is not possible as 11217 says he never reads the Open Thread, even tho he knows everything about it…but he can log in as swine_flu and meet me there if he desires.
Thanks 6years. I’m really trying to keep negativity to a minimum (a couple weeks in Argentina helped for sure) but I think I’m planning to be more of a lurker with an occasional comment to keep down on the extreme animosity some people here have. In looking over Park Dope’s comments, he/she seems to literally comment only on my posts and seems to follow my every word. I’m flattered, but the aggressive and childish behavior is really not something I want to partake in anymore.
I chose to comment on this thread because I just passed the Super 8 last night and find it really odd that someone who has lived in Brooklyn for so long, would be scared to walk by here at night. Didn’t mean to start a war about it.
Children, children, please take your fight to the Open Thread!
Oh, and welcome back, 11217.
> No clue what your problem is Park Dope
Go look in a mirror..i’m sure you have one close by at all times..
No clue what your problem is Park Dope, but your message is nearly unintelligible to me.
This blog has turned into trash.
