Five three-story, three-family homes are coming to the empty lots at 731-739 Prospect Place, between Rogers and Nostrand in Crown Heights. Work permits were recently filed for four of the lots (see ’em here, here, here and here), while a permit for the fifth came through earlier this year. The project will occupy a block that’s home to other newish developments, including The Sinclair condo. GMAP

  1. Just an fyi, these guys were digging at the site a couple weeks ago without any of these permits. Given this and their prior methods of constructing, the city will be keeping a very close eye on them.

  2. This is exciting! And I agree, crownmolding- Crown Heights is a warm, friendly neighborhood. Change is coming- but so far is it slower than we’ve seen in other neighborhoods and I think that’s a good thing. CHN is a stable neighborhood and despite some of its problems, I’ve found it to be a wonderful place to live.
