131 6th Avenue in Park Slope was demolished years ago, but plans for a new two-family, three-story building never materialized. However, a new building permit was just approved for the same plans that were in place a few years ago. There should be medical offices on the first floor with two apartments on top. The project’s architect is Arianna Braun.

This falls right outside of the historic district, though if the Park Slope district expansion goes through, it would encapsulate this very lovely little block.
More reason to speed up landmarking, lest this vacant lot turns into something even more unpleasant than a vacant lot.
This site has been an eyesore for year. If you peek behind the fence, there is a small bulldozer that looks entrenched in the dirt and all the crap that has accumulated. Actually look a little dangerous since the building on either side don’t look shored up.
Assuming this is a landmarked block, don’t the plans need to be approved for aesthetics?
And what is to become of the 9/11 mural?
I don’t think that’s it. No fire plug out front & non-existent tree.
It would appear that the project is being used as the thumbnail for ‘mixed use’ projects under the architect’s projects page.

Doesn’t seem bad from that small blurry view.
White walled fedder building, or postmodernist eyesore. Place your bets.
