The owners of 316 19th Street (right) in the South Slope got a permit for a new three-story, three-unit building back in 2008, and now work is under way. The next door neighbor, 318-320 19th Street, was being built by the same developer, but construction there has obviously stalled. (There’s an open “work without a permit” violation.) Scalino is/was good food.
19th Street development has been a 2 and 2/3 sided prefab brick mess for years. Hope it gets complete. Have given up hope of liking it when it’s done, but hey- that’s just greenwood heights living-

For a while there was a sign about renting parking spaces… hard to say what’s up with this but glad to see it’s finally moving along.
