When we checked in on 330 Clifton Place back in June, there was little reason to think that the two-family structure would turn out to be anything but ugly. And now we have confirmation. At least the eventual residents will have a place to put their archers should an enemy’s cavalry decide to attack.

  1. i appreciate your loyalty, but geez…

no loyalty whatsoever, in fact i detest both of them – i just think that a handrail will take away the castle feel, not the crap smell though

  2. Funny, funny thread.

Rob, I was actually going to address my previous post to you, but didn’t want to be insulting.

ENY, you’re probably right, but I’ll look at it as a compliment. I think being an elitist in the sea of ignorance isn’s such a bad thing. Prime example: red vs blue.

  3. I had a bid in on an apartment in this place, but I’m pulling out due to a severe lack of turrets.

I was promised a damn turret, and these crenellations simply won’t suffice. Whether they are railinged or un-railinged.

    My archers deserve better.

  4. rising crane, i appreciate your loyalty, but geez… a railing will never help this disaster. if you know the developer personally you may want to help guide him to another profession.

  5. i know the developer (personally) and the architect (by reputation), both pretty crappy… however i suspect that this building may look slightly better (or less ugly) once the handrails are in place, giving the parapet a cleaner finish… then again it may not
