Another new building—this one seven stories—is getting ready to rise on Kent Avenue. Designed by Michael Muroff Architect, the 82,000-square-foot project at 111 Kent Avenue will have 57 residential units, many of which will have terraces looking out over the new waterfront state park. We can’t tell from any of the public documents which developer is behind this project, but whoever it is paid $15.7 million for the land last December. What do you think of those angled windows? 1. Finally! A respite from the same ol ubiquitous crap. They are taking a great site and running with the design. This is the best looking new construction I have seen in Williamsburg/Greenpoint. Any interior renderings/floorplans?

  2. I hear the MTA is starting a recruitment drive to hire (Japanese subway style) “pushers” to shove all those new multimillion dollar condo owners onto the already packed L train for the am commute. But first, they’re gonna hand out tickets — like at the deli — before you can even enter the Bedford St station.
