Brick Revealed at Greene Avenue Townhouses
We noticed last week that they’ve begun to work on the facade of the eight townhouses going up on Greene Avenue between Classon and Franklin and are pleased to report that they’ve opted for some attractive red brick with a matte finish. Exactly that, Kensingtonka. I thought that stone was from the 60s yet they just redid a facde on Macon bet Lewis & Marcus garvey. I think that block is calandered to be landmarked. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I thought maybe they were doing something else to the bulding but they had just put that shit up.
Dave, you mean one of these gems?

Brick nazis!!
From what I’ve seen around, whenever anyone uses a nice, appropriate, contextual brick you are very, very lucky.
I’ll send in a pic of a rooftop extension that has gone up on macon St with fugly yellow brick. And, EVEN WORSE, some nut jobe one block west on macon just covered a facade with that yellow and orange fake rock shit. I thought that crap hadn’r been used in 40 years and was a remnant of the sixties
I’ll send you the photos next week.
