Upgrades are in the works at 329 Adelphi Street, a dilapidated Civil War-era wood house with a lot of potential in Fort Greene. The home was on the market in 2009, first listed for $950,000 and then $795,000. According to public records, it sold for $820,000. Last year a permit was issued to “occupy the building as a two-family residence” and this year another came through for general construction work. From what we could tell the interior work that’s in progress looks pretty extensive. Anyone have more details about the nature of the rehab? GMAP

  1. I have been walking bye every day for six yesrs. The house is coming along beautifully. I am amazed at how well the exteriir is coming. It appears that they have also tried to use period moldings on the interior as well. I think that you should post a new photo of the fascade. It looks amazing.

  2. We saw the new windows a few weeks back and they did not look right. Hopefully not an indication of a new owner who “doesn’t get it”.
