Get ready for Karl Fischer to squeeze out another puppy in Williamsburg, this one a bong’s throw from the BQE on Union Avenue. The five-story building will have 42 residential units for a total of about 65,000 square feet. We weren’t able to dig any renderings up on the architect’s website. Anyone seen or heard anything? 1. Hipsters and hasids and butt ugly buildings
Fedders so heinous no matter the gilding
Tattoos on rock kids with tight skinny jeans
These are what make up the Billyburg scene

Sweet mother of god do I have too much time on my hands. Sorry–it just belched out.

But by the way, I think hipsters are adorable and funny to look at–they add texture to the room. Where’s a hipster to go now that the east village is Starbucksberg?

  2. I’m surprised this is residential as it’s being built almost right on top of the Catholic school behind it. I had thought it was an addition to the school. Also, time to get over the hipster bashing. They’re not the ones building the glass-eyesores that abound in the burg, and whatever you may think about trustfunders, I haven’t seen too many ratty-looking kids who reside in these new buildings.

  3. I’m an neither a dingbat nor am I drunk. While I rarely use the word ‘conflate’ and especially not ‘conflating’, I would respectfully disagree and counter that the two groups conflated themselves long ago. Hipsters as a poor artist species are dead, you dingbat.
