When we went past earlier this week, it was showing a lot of brick. As the rendering we dug up shows, the next step will be installing quite a bit of glass. How do you like the way this is starting to look?

I think we can call this new style of architecture (Um, define that) as “Oughts-4th-Avenue-Brutislism.”
“Park Ave of Bklyn!”
Dunno what to think. It’s not the worst thing on 4th, but like all the others, its squat, blocky proportions make it unappealing. Makes me wonder if the 12-story limit is just enforcing a really awkward building height.
Looks lovely.
does anyone know if this is slated to be rentals or condos?
Is this going to be a rental?
I agree with Novanglus. 4th Avenue divides Park Slope to the east and Gowanus/Boerum Hill to the west. This one is on the west side of 4th Avenue. It’s like that downtown brooklyn highrise trying to call themselves Fort Green Condos or something.
Looks like 20 Bayard’s big bad brother.
Kind of a stretch to call this Park Slope–more like Gowanus.
Well, at least it is red brick and not one of those tan brick colors that put me to sleep.
I know the tenements before needed a little of help, but I liked them just the same……
