Prospect Heights

The statement that "the proposed buildings in some areas over the railyard would be smaller, opening up more areas for open space" is misleading. The buildings' <em>footprints</em> would be smaller, but the towers would be far larger in volume (as well as taller). The developer wants the state to allow about 1.6 million square feet, worth perhaps $320 million, and take advantage of other, yet unspecified "public resources." Don’t use plywood as flooring. It is going to delaminate and give you gigantic splinters. It can’t hold up to foot traffic for very long.

Lovely. The text states Sherman Architecture itself did all the work. Are they a design build firm or did they work with contractor(s)?

Great building. The problem is the 25% flip tax and very high maintenance.
