A brand new yoga studio has opened in Brooklyn Heights. Heatwise opened on the second floor of 163 Remsen Street on Saturday, August 5.
Most classes offered at Heatwise are hot vinyasa yoga sessions that last one hour. The studio offers reserved spots with a minimum radius of 12 inches around each mat, lockers, and free mats and towels.
The studio has a cozy lobby area with a couch, white drapes, hanging plants, chairs and a small shop.
The main yoga room has hardwood floors, draped windows, and infrared heating to provide a hot yoga experience.
The studio shares 163 Remsen with a nail salon on the lower floor. The upper unit was formerly occupied by a business called New Age Astrology, according to Yelp.
Heatwise joins several other yoga providers in Brooklyn Heights, including Area Yoga, Bikram Yoga Brooklyn, Body and Brain Yoga, Equinox Brooklyn Heights and YogaWorks.
