Is there a building in New York that you thinks is really ugly, or has a fatal design flaw? Think that house or parking garage in your neighborhood is an eyesore? Then take a photo, and send it to us!
The producers have set up a group on Flickr to take submissions; the architectural historian and Times scribe Christopher Gray will appear on the show on September 25 to discuss the submissions and to give his own picks. Sounds like fun to us! We just kicked off the submissions with the bane of our existence220 Greene Avenue (aka the Greene Avenue Atrocity), a project we’ve chronicled ad nauseum during its miserable less-than-two-year existence.

9:27 must live in a really ugly house. Or under a really ugly bridge.
I double dog DARE you all to go up to people’s houses you think are ugly, and tell them to their faces that their house has been placed on this list.
Man, this is just childish. I should call George Carlin up and add this to his list of things that contribute to the ‘pussification’ of America.
Not only is the Greene ave building ugly (and poor build quality), there is an old bum woman who literally patrols that corner EVERY SINGLE DAY. She is old, insane and would sit on a plastic crate all day (I have seen her in the morning around 9am and she would still be there when I get off work at 6pm). She would curse to anyone who won’t help her get something in the convenient store across the street.
Oops…..hit enter …as i was saying…Classon Ave and Fulton ST, Bedford ave and Halsey, Greene and Grande
My votes are 1) Classon Avd and Fulton St
there are numerous ugly new condo buildings in Bensonhurst.

i too thought of the building at fulton and classon. but looking for ugly buildings among new construction is like looking for white folks at the Salvage Meet. i wanna know what the ugliest older-construction building is!
Looks like Tetris, cinder block bunker edition.
My personal (least) favorite is the thing on Clinton and 3rd I believe in Carrol Gardens. The one that looks like a giant cinder block is eating the corner brownstone.
