Sustainable Flatbush Street-Tree Walking Tour
Sustainable Flatbush is celebrating Arbor Day and street-trees of Brooklyn by visiting the Victorian Flatbush neighborhoods of Beverley Square West and Prospect Park South. Your guides, Tracey Hohman and Flatbush Gardener will guide you on a tour that will identify trees and their characteristics, explore local tree history. explain how to obtain and care for street trees, and more. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes so please dress appropriately for the event (walking shoes, sunscreen, etc.). Click here to see the walking route.

First Annual Greenpoint-Williamsburg Affordable Housing Forum
Neighbors Allied for Good Growth will be holding the first housing forum for Greenpoint/Williamsburg. All segments of the community will come together to learn tenant laws, how to deal with troubling housing situations, and how to find affordable housing through existing programs.

Brooklyn Flea
The Brooklyn Flea in Ft. Greene will be on Saturdays while the indoor Dumbo Flea will be on Sundays. The best jewelry, clothing, furniture vendors and food vendors will be at both locations so the enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend and stop by.

Williamsburg: History, Art, and Beer
New York Like a Native presents an introduction to the area north of Broadway, including visits to historic structures, development sites and art galleries, and ending at the Brooklyn Brewery, where a free tour (and samples) will be available. Tour price includes donation to the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center.

The Gowanus Grind
The Gowanus Grind event will feature skateboarding, food, art, and music. There will also be a free skate board clinic sponsored by Homage, the skate board shop on Smith Street. Proceeds will go towards Thomas Greene Park.

Museum2Museum Bike Ride: From the City Reliquary to the QMA
Join other cyclists for a fun and leisurely bicycle ride from Museum2MuseumBrooklyn to Queens. Riders will depart from the City Reliquary, wind through Williamsburg and East Williamsburg, into Long Island City, Elmhurst, Corona, and finally Flushing-Meadows Corona Park for the QMA’s Queens International 4 closing party. Total biking miles is 6.5.

Lumenhouse Benefit and Art Auction
Save Lumenhouse Gallery and Photography Studio. The Lumenhouse Benefit and Art Auction will feature works by over 40 artists. The auction will feature refreshments, an opportunity to visit with the Lumenhouse studio artists, and live performances by artist Eliza Fernand, cellist Brent Arnold, and mime Marissa Mickelberg. After the auction, stick around for the Lumenhouse Dance Party, which will feature DJs Stylus and krnl panic.

Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership & Storefront for Art and Architecture Community Workshop
The Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership and Storefront for Art and Architecture will host a community workshop in the space under the BQE on Park Avenue at Washington Avenue inside SpaceBuster, a temporary public art installation. The Partnership invites residents and other stakeholders to participate by brainstorming creative permanent and temporary uses and physical improvements.
