Prospect Heights Craft Fair
Come to the Prospect Heights Craft Fair on Saturday, April 13th from 11am to 6pm and explore a lovingly curated marketplace of independent artists and designers from Brooklyn and beyond. You’ll find an extensive showcase of handmade treasures, such as stationery, textiles, artisanal food, jewelry, and so much more. Entry to the fair is free and fun for all ages. And for families, we will have kid activities from 12pm to 5pm. For only $5, your child can drop in (with or without a parent) to do arts and crafts, sing and dance, or hear a local author. Saturday, April 13th from 11am-6pm at PS 9, 80 Underhill Avenue (between St. Mark’s Ave. and Bergen St.).

Grand Opening at Park Slope Yogurtland
Yogurtland is celebrating the grand opening of its Brooklyn location on Saturday, April 13th with free yogurt, family entertainment and prizes. At Yogurtland’s self-serve frozen yogurt shops, guests are welcomed by a bright, cheerful wall of sweet and tart yogurt flavors and a topping bar filled with healthful and indulgent options. Located 207 Seventh Ave in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood, the Yogurtland grand opening events include: A ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 AM followed by free yogurt and toppings until 2 PM; Face painting and balloon artist performance from 2 PM – 5 PM; Free prizes and giveaways from 5 – 8 PM; And buy one get one free yogurt and toppings from 8 – 11 PM.

Urban Cycling Skills at BLDG 92
Build riding confidence in an urban setting with classes on safety, mechanics, etiquette and information on local biking groups. Sessions close with an hour-long group ride up the Kent Avenue Greenway and back! Open to new and seasoned cyclists. Saturday, 4/13, 2pm at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG 92. FREE.

Brooklyn Flea + Smorgasburg
The Brooklyn Flea runs Saturday in Fort Greene and Sunday in Williamsburg, and the Smorgasburg market runs Saturday in Williamsburg and Sunday in Dumbo. A map, details, and times for all the markets lives here. At the Flea, check out 100s of antique, furniture, food, jewelry, and art vendors. Smorgasburg features every type of food, beverage, and treat imaginable. Entry to all markets is free.
