34th Annual House Tour of Bedford Stuyvesant
Sponsored by The Brownstoners of Bedford-Stuyvesant, the 34rd Annual House Tour of Bedford Stuyvesant will take place from 9am through 5pm, delighting visitors with a look inside the community’s historic brownstones. Third Annual Harvest Festival
The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park, will host the third annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. The Harvest Festival marks the close of a full summer of dynamic public programming in the park and last year welcomed 4,000 park enthusiasts to Pier 6 to enjoy the fall-themed festivities. Visitors are encouraged to arrive in Halloween costumes while they enjoy face painting, mask making, storytelling, pumpkin decorating and creative art activities from Brooklyn-based educational partners.
DO OR DIE – BK Pop-Up Arts Fest
On October 21, 2012, GoodLif Media invites you to the first Do Or Die-BK Pop-Up Arts Fest in Williamsburg to enjoy a dynamic retail and entertainment experience celebrating emerging New York based artist’s designers and musicians. Brooklyn Flea + Smorgasburg
Smorgasburg is now at its second weekly location in Brooklyn Bridge Park, at the historic Tobacco Warehouse in Dumbo. It’ll be open every Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm through Nov. 18. Of course, on Saturday, the Flea is held at 176 Lafayette Avenue (between Clermont and Vanderbilt avenues) in Fort Greene. On Sunday, the Flea will be at 27 North 6th Street (between Kent Avenue and the East River). Saturday at the Williamsburg location is also the home of our all-food market, Smorgasburg. The Flea features over 150 vendors offering a great mix of vintage, antiques, jewelry and amazing food. Flea: Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Smorg: Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm. Free.
