Sakura Matsure: Cherry Blossom Festival
The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens hosts a very special weekend as many thousands descend on the Garden to partake in a wide range of Japanese cultural activities spanning the very traditional to the most contemporary. Saturday and Sunday, April 30-May 1. 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. $15. Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.

Saturday & Sunday, April 30 & May 1. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free.

The Gowanus Swamp Stock
The Brooklyn Lyceum has heard many a tale since 1995 from Brooklynites past and present about the wonderful world that was Brooklyn. Walk With the Appalachian Mountain Club
For the past four years, members of the Appalachian Mountain Club have toured through Green-Wood, marveling at our 150-year old trees, lakes, winding carriage paths and vistas. Saturday, April 30th at 10:30 p.m. Meet inside the the main entrance at 25th St. and 5th Ave. $15.
