I ordered the new Terk from Amazon for ~$37. it was the highest rated one on the site plus neighbor said she researched it and saw positive reviews. Her GE and Phillips ones didn’t work hence trying this one before she calls up Time Warner for svc
My friend told me that if you have the newer TVs with digital tuner, you don’t need a roof antenna. Just need to buy one of those digital antennas and the reception will be great.
m4l – I tried an indoor Terk & that didn’t work. I think it’s dependent on how low you are – I’m down the Slope plus my building is a storey shorter than most neighbors. I still haven’t got the roof antenna – tried one left over from 40 years ago & that was no good. When the weather improves, a neighbor of mine (who is a geek & is now totally wired up internally & doesn’t need it) has said I can tap into his which is newer.
Arkady, buy a new TV :o). I have hook ups and so does M4L. Between the Jews and Chinese, you’ll get the best deal in town.
Which reminds me M4L, how you gonna buy on Amazon and not from your fellow wholesalers in Chinatown? You’re one bad Asian.
and no video.
Kens, Arkady has the analog tv with digital converter
my dreamhome!!

m4l – Then again, the Terk I tried is pretty old too – I’d got it for better am/fm reception probably 10 or 12 years since.
oh yeah, that’s what the neighbor asked me to get for her – an indoor Terk antenna
