Crisco is always best on its 3rd or 4th usage. My gramma would separate the used ones in old coffee tins. There was one for bacon (why she added crisco to a skillet to cook bacon? we like our heart attacks!), one for fish, and one for non-smelly foods. Ah, memories.

To me, Crisco is way scarier than butter.
My gramma used to make cakes with crisco. They were tasty, but I swear you could bust out a window with one of those suckers. Heavy!
