ESDC 2nd Informational Meeting
The Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC) will be holding its second informational meeting for the Atlantic Yards. This meeting’s main topic will be focused on the new arena design for the Barclays Center. Unfortunately, any public issues brought up during this meeting can’t be brought up before the ESDC board meets on September 17. The Center for Architecture will moderate the discussion with arena designers Ellerbe Becket and SHoP Architects. All are welcome to attend. Monday, September 14. 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Brooklyn Borough Hall.
Bay Ridge Membership Campaign Kickoff

2nd ANNUAL SUMMER @ SONYA Art exhibition
South Of the Navy Yard Artists (SONYA), is presenting an art exhibition that includes more than thirty-five works in painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography by twenty-one emerging and established artists who are current members of SONYA. This Thursday is the opening reception and is open to the public until October 8th. Thursday, September 17. 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. At both TRA Gallery, 35 Claver Place and Classon Walls, 459 Classon Avenue (within three blocks of each other).

Lullwater Lounge
Take the time to truly relax at the Lullwater Lounge in Prospect Park. Enjoy some drinks on the terrace, look at some of the center’s exhibits, or just soak up the beautiful view at the lounge. You can purchase tickets at the door for $25 and you must be 21 years of age. Wednesday, September 16. 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Audubon Center at the Boathouse.
