Legendary cultural and literary figures Amiri Baraka and Melvin Van Peebles will read from their work and then take part in a conversation moderated by Farai Chideya. This special event is a fundraiser to benefit P.S. 11. The evening will also feature readings by acclaimed journalist and author Farai Chideya and performance poet Tai Allen.
