RED Panel: The Latest on Coney Island’s Development
Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Real Estate & Development (RED) Committee will host a panel discussion on the latest in Coney Island’s development. A complimentary breakfast will be served. The Museum of Drunken Art Show
The latest Museum of Drunken Art show will feature 24 pieces by four artists—Katie Welty, Ben Shambaugh, Sam Crees, and Peter Teraberry. There will also be a small exhibit of works by guest artist, Harrod.

Adult Education Presents The Year in Review
Adult Education’s newest lecture series has presenters look back on 2008 and ahead to 2009. The line-up for “The Year in Review” will include “Things We Lost” from Patrick Di Justo, “Crusty, Saucy, Cheesy” from Adam Kuban, “Welcome to the Night” from Joe Garden, and “The Year of Payback” from Marian Salzman. The event is hosted by comedian Charles Star.

Community Board 6 Meeting
CB 6’s Economic/Waterfront Development Committe is having their monthly meeting. On the agenda for discussion is the city’s planning efforts for the Atlantic Basin at the Red Hook waterfront, the New York Water Taxi’s expanded ferry service to the Brooklyn waterfront in New York Harbor, and an update from the non-profit community-based organization, PortSide New York on its proposals Basin activities.
