DIBS — It’s totally politics. They states mentioned above are all states thave disproportionate representation because of equal footing in the Senate.
Agree, Pete. While the blue states are richer, the red states have no problem accepting federal dollars it seems. Nor do Palin or Bachman.

Simple explanation. The blue states actually have higher incomes…NY, CT, CA, etc. it’s got nothing to do with politics
absolutely, bxgrl. The list of least from feds is by far a democrat voting bunch. Most of the republican voting states are the biggest beneficiary of a large federal gov’t.

An across the board pay cut for unions, or an end to the abuses and double-dipping? When you say “across-the-board pay cut” to me I think of front line teachers. That’s not a winnable rhetoric.
