new2hood….from these parents’ own admission, it seems these kids throw a fit every time the truck comes around, on a daily basis.
rob – what about transgendered people having children? Are they sell outs too?
what makes being gay and a parent a sell out? i’m curious. but not as curious as biff after five drinks out at a bar.
(lol, sorry biff that was a cheap shot and i don’t even know you!)
DIBS, there isn’t a child alive who hasn’t thrown a fit.
Ice cream is good.
Telling your kid no is good.
Not bitching to the media is good.
No, I don’t think they are any better or worse either. My point was just that, as odd as it sounds, I never saw any before in NYC!!!
I bet that kid has never “thrown a fit.”
DIBS – A Child’s behavior is incredibly erratic as I am learning. Your 20 minute “Fitless” encounter is no measure of a child 24 hours a day. They can turn on a dime and it is part of the cahllenge of parenting.
Nothing against gay couples but I dont think there is any evidence they parent any better (or worse) than anyone else.
gay people who have kids are sell-outs. there, i said it.

A treat every single day at 5:30, an hour before dinner? That is a problem.
uh, no. it isnt hahahah

Cobble and Arkady, amen. I couldn’t have said it any better.
Believe it or not, I had my first sighting of two gay dads with a son yesterday in the subway. I don’t walk around NYC much on the weekends as I’m not usually here so I haven’t actually seen any before.
Tis was a black couple withj an incredibly cute kid. They were on the subway and one of them was reading to the kid. He was incredibly well behaved. they were on the A train and got off at Jay St to catch the F so they too were PS parents.
I bet that kid has never “thrown a fit.”
