Warby Parker Set to Expand to Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope in 2020
This will be their third location in the borough, following spots in Boerum Hill and Williamsburg.
Warby Parker is opening a new outpost in Brooklyn.
Located at 208 Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope, this will be the third location in the borough for the eyeglasses purveyor, following spots at 124 North 6th Street in Williamsburg, which opened earlier this year, and 55 Bergen Street in Boerum Hill, its first Brooklyn location, which debuted in 2016.
There are seven additional locations in Manhattan.
The building — both the front, which faces Flatbush Avenue and the back, which faces Bergen Street — has been painted baby blue, with cartoonish illustrations that resemble those Steve “Espo” Powers did for the exterior of the Williamsburg location.
According to the company’s website, the Park Slope location will open in 2020.
Formerly, the building was occupied by New York Methodist Hospital Family Health Center. The owner is Michael Pintchik, whose family business owns a lot of buildings along that stretch of Flatbush Avenue along with beloved longtime Park Slope hardware store Pintchik’s.
