For those of you who missed this year’s Prospect Heights House Tour (or those of you who want to relive it), we hit the streets with a cameraman in tow, checking out several of the houses and talking to some homeowners and tour go-ers. At one stop, we even bumped into Marty Markowitz who shared some thoughts with us on screen. (As with our last video, big thanks to the folks at Rumur.tv for their production skills.) For those who attended, what were the highlights of the tour?

It gets really tiresome reading all the vitriol on this site that has nothing to do with the subject at hand. Anyway, I thought the house tour was a great success, though I was disappointed that there were only six houses featured. I also visited the two Newswalk apartments, which Mr. B. didn’t cover in his video, and I thought they were both incredibly cool. You have to like loft-living, of course, which explains why Mr. B. wasn’t interested. And unfortunately both of the owners featured will soon have a close-up view of the Atlantic Yards building site for many years to come.
Like I said, total freakos.

I actually like the tour but would prefer a different host (I prefer Mr. B when he was anonymous). I can’t help but think he’s just some Blue Blood who feels he missed his true calling, TV host. And that music sounds like poser music to me. A bunch of financial types wanting to be hip who like to “gig” on the weekends. Yuck.
It pisses me off how the Crown Heights crowd have to turn every damned thread on this blog into a discussion of CH. Enough already. There are other neighborhoods in this borough, you know.

So did anyone on this thread actualy GO on the PH house tour and, if so, do they have any comments about the HOUSES?
