I loved the Radio Rookies piece on Crown Heights. Tough spot that the Caribbean girls are in, but they’re learning about the way the world works. Not everyone will be your friend. Gotta admit I’ve had to learn the same lesson about the Hasidic people in Brooklyn. Many of us get a bad impression of them (they might be your landlord if you live in Brooklyn) but at the same time, most of them are fine.
