The parking thing really gets my goat. I park a car on the street in brooklyn AND have a bike. I am all for bike lanes, but they don’t prevent street parking in any way, they are two feet wide for chrissake. Trying to act like there is always these irreconcilable conflict between cars and bikes is just ignorant and falling for media hype. Don’t do it.
You want to know why we have a parking problem?? It’s called the TRAGEDY OF THE COMMONS. Look it up.
Don’t get mad at bikers, get mad at people who illegally live here parking there untitled or out-of-state titled cars all over the place and not paying NY State taxes or DOT fees. I’ve seen the same asshole with Virginia plates on my street every day for 6 months. Feck! 😛
“she just bought that house on Stuyvesant to try to boost the Bed Stuy market.”
Ha Ha. She should have gotten a gun instead.
“Isn’t that the same Cocoran woman that bought a house in Bed Stuy on Stuyvesant? Did she move in? ”
she lives in a townhouse on the UES – she just bought that house on Stuyvesant to try to boost the Bed Stuy market. She also bought a bldg in Red Hook.
There are no run down houses on her block in bed Stuy.
Isn’t that the same Cocoran woman that bought a house in Bed Stuy on Stuyvesant? Did she move in? Wonder if she’ll go on a shooting spree of all the run down houses there.
I have some pretty finicky friends (old gays) that have an incredible “estate” in NH and just up the road is this real white trash “compound” but they all get along great and everyone is great neighbors and friendly.
Barbara told someone to shot their neighbor.
I’m posting it in the OT > > >
CGar, I missed it. Can you give us a summary/link?
