Legion – We all have our tragic 80s fashion choices. Last week I mentioned the Girbaud pants I used to have. Zoicks.
ditmasnark,
I used to wear a pair of “marxist” pants.
Remember that video for “Come on Eileen” in the 80’s?
who could resist that fad?
Thank god there weren’t and digital camera phones back then.lol.
Actually THREE options:
1. pay the government 35% or 3.5 million for every 10 million.
2. start a foundation or charity which directs your money to where you want it and also gives you the appearance of being Mother Teresa.
3. Find one of the multitude of offshore and domestic tax shelters often accessible to people with substantial assets to protect.
Oh, denton already said that. Well, it was worth repeating, anyway.
LOLegion! Good one.
>>This would beat out Branjolina’s giving…..
good for him. This was never about hedge funds. Hedge funds don’t take tax payers handout yet so I have no arguments with them.

Marxist Pants are better than exposure to Marxist Rants which give the listener the impression that the speaker is “worn out” on human spirit, with large holes in their logic, reasoning ability ripped to shreds and faded notions of government’s role in societal advancement. 😉
“In North America and the United Kingdom, nearly everyone has been exposed to Marxist Pants. Marxist Pants are denim jeans which appear ‘worn out’ – they contain holes, ripped denim, and faded or discolored patches of denim…”

Hedge Fund CEO Hintze Wins Prince of Wales Philanthropy Medal
Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) — Michael Hintze, founder and chief executive officer of hedge-fund manager CQS UK LLP, won one of five philanthropy medals awarded by the Prince of Wales, the heir to the British throne.
Hintze and his wife Dorothy — who have given away some 12 million pounds ($20 million) in the past year alone — picked up the Prince of Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy, Arts & Business, the organizers, said in an e-mailed release.
“fashionably distressed”
Now that would be a good band name.
